Description
Map of the Southern Alps from Mt Dechen and the Otoko River in the north to the Huxley River in the south and Hopkins River in the east. A route marked from the Huxley River to the Otoko River is labelled as "track 1897". A point on the track, on the Mackenzie Creek south Landsborough Flat, is marked "Matheson's horses came to here".
